Rainbow Springs offers a special experience and provide many intimate venues that boast a magical look, especially at night.

Situated alongside the picturesque Waterfall Lake is the newly renovated Wairere Cafe. With the ability to accommodate 200 - 250 people to either a sit down BBQ dinner cocktail evening, the location is outstanding. Larger groups will be soon accomodated for with a soon to be developed ‘Village Green’ alongside the café. Beautifully lit at night, this impressive venue suits day or night time functions and events.

Opening in January 2012 – The new Big Splash water ride will be available for exclusive use!  A nine minute boat journey through the ecological evolution of New Zealand, prehistoric dinosaurs raise their life size heads as you sail by and the now extinct haast eagle attacts a moa right in front of your eyes. The $11 million project opens in January 2012 and will be a favourite for individuals and groups alike.

Situated above the Kaiakuri stream is The Kaiakuri Stream Bridge. Covered partially by a pergola, this exclusively available venue is  uniquely set amongst native fernery and shrubs and is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner for up to 30 guests or cocktails for 50.

Rainbow Springs has developed an experience that is interactive and offers the perfect environment for team building activities. One of the key offerings is the opportunity to eat, talk and walk with the local animals, giving the venue a special touch. We can also team up with Activities Unlimited to customise your team building experience with Rainbow Springs and our neighbouring partners Skyline, Ogo and Mitai Maori Village.
