Rainbow Springs Kiwi Wildlife Park

Tickets are valid for repeat entry (by the original purchaser) for the day of purchase, until closing. This will enable you to see kiwi in our outdoor glass free enclosure.

If you enter the park for the first time after 5pm, your ticket will be valid for re-entry until midday the following day.

Behind the Scenes Kiwi Encounter Tour

If you would like to join one of our special Behind the Scenes tour of Kiwi Encounter to see the Incubation, Hatching and Nursery Rooms, just add $5 per person onto your Rainbow Springs admission price (Children under 5 years of age are free). Your $5 goes directly to the National Kiwi Trust which supports Kiwi Encounter and helps us continue hatching and raising kiwi to return to the wild.

Space on these tours fills quickly so it pays to pre-book to avoid missing out. Tours depart hourly from 10am until 4pm and are 30 minutes in duration. Book now

Sheep Show times are 9.30am, 11am and 2.30pm. The Rainbow Springs ticket is valid for a 24 hour period to allow visitors to enjoy the park both during the day and in the evening. 

Rainbow Springs and Mitai 

Come and meet the People of the Land at Mitai Maori Village. The Mitai Family endeavour to bring you the most authentic Maori Cultural experience in NZ today.

This experience includes the world famous Fairy Spring, the Maori war canoe (waka) paddle-by, Maori song and dance (haka), traditionally cooked hangi meal, glow worm tour and an evening bush walk and talk about Maori medicines.
